Ultimate Technical Academy offers unique training solutions for today's HVAC, plumbing and electrical industries!
UTA's fast track method of training gives the most value because of what can be learned in just a matter of weeks, compared to months or years of traditional training. Since our program is based on working with a wide array of operational equipment in the labs and students work at their own experience level, both new and experienced technicians benefit
UTA offers several one-week courses, rotating them constantly, so you can pick which ones are right for you and fit into your busy schedule. Each week, students from all over the United States and Canada attend our training facility here in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Some students take just one week at a time, while others spend two or even three weeks attending several courses in a row. We do not require any pre-course study, so you can enroll at any time. Although if any technicians would like to take their EPA exam while attending a course, we offer to mail a study guide before attending so they can get a jump start on it. We also provide all tools and electronic testing instruments necessary for training while at our facility.
Each course is blend of classroom training that explains the theory of "how it works" and then most importantly the "hands-on" training teaching the "how to" procedures it takes to get the job done. Students spend approximately one-third of the time in the classroom and two-thirds in the Electrical, Heating, A/C or Plumbing Labs learning applied processes.
UTA students gain the confidence it takes to succeed along with a foundation to build their life long career. Courses are designed around the knowledge and skills necessary for installation, maintenance and service. Our program is based on performance, rather than theory, allowing technicians to apply their newly acquired knowledge and skills instantly!
The "fast track" one-week courses enable beginning (novice) techs to quickly get jump started into their new career. Intermediate techs will further understand the “theory” of systems so they can handle more complex service calls. Skilled techs will refine their existing techniques in an effort to decrease diagnostic times and recalls. Each technician works individually on lab projects designed so that they can progress at their own rate.
By taking advantage of this training, it opens up your opportunity to hire technicians with little or no experience to expand your workforce!
