Whether a Technician is new to the industry or has years of experience, UTA's training program gives you the most value for your investment because of what technicians learn in just a matter of weeks...compared to months or years of "traditional" or "ride-a-long" traininng

UTA offers several one-week courses so you can pick which ones are right for you and select a time that fits into your schedule. Some students choose one week at a time, while others spend two and sometimes three weeks attending several courses in a row. UTA courses do not require any pre-course study materials so you can enroll at any time and we provide all of the tools and electronic test instruments necessary during the course.

Our courses contain a blend of classroom training that teaches the theory on "how it works" and most importantly the "hands-on" training that teaches the "how to" procedures that it takes to get the job done. We spend approximately 1/3 of the time in the classroom, and 2/3rds of the time in the Electrical, Heating & AC labs learning how to apply what has been learned.

Our courses are designed around the knowledge and skills necessary for HVAC installation, maintenance and service, and because our program is "performance" based Technicians are able to come back to work and instantly put what they have learned into action!

These "fast track" one-week courses enable new technicians to quickly get jump started in their career, whereas intermediate technicians will gain the skills to move to the next level, and experienced techs refine their skills to get the most out of their career. Each technician works individually on lab projects so, Techs with experience can move on to projects with an increased level of difficulty and progress at their own rate.
